Goal: net-zero emissions by 2050 at the latest
Our Commitment
Neobex Group participates in the Government of Canada's Net-Zero Challenge and publicly commits to planning and implementing reductions in its greenhouse gas emissions in order to achieve net-zero emissions no later than 2050 for its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
Emissions Scope
As a small or medium-sized enterprise, the organization does not report Scope 3 emissions in its preliminary plan at this stage. The relevance of including Scope 3 categories will be reassessed in future updates to its net-zero plan.
Governance of Our Net-Zero Approach
Leadership
Neobex Group's leadership oversees the net-zero approach and approves the targets as well as the main emissions reduction strategies.
Coordination
The Director of Operations coordinates the annual greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory, target tracking, data documentation and plan updates.
Annual Review
Progress is reviewed at least annually to guide next steps and reporting to the Government of Canada's Net-Zero Challenge.
Where relevant, GHG emissions and climate-related risks and opportunities are taken into account in decisions regarding vehicles, facilities, purchasing, logistics, suppliers and investments.
